SEWING AND CUTTING COURSE

As part of the GWS vocational training, a Sewing & Cutting course was held at AWC Taplejung over the period of 5 Jan to 4 Apr 09 to facilitate skill development for 15 dependants of ex-servicemen. The training was conducted by Mrs Nita Shrestha. At the end of the training, the participants gained suffi cient skill to enable them to sew and repair their clothes themselves, thus making them self reliant to a certain degree.
On 3 Apr 09, AWO Taplejung, Hon Lt(QGO) Punendraprasad Limbu ex 2RGR distributed certifi cates and individual prizes to all trainees for successfully completing the course.
